It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Greg on November 22nd, 2023, at the age of 35. He was dearly loved by his mom Sandra and dad Dave, and he was a great brother to his older brother Jeff (Sophie) and younger brother Cameron (Meagan).
Greg had an infectious smile and laugh. He always had the “little kid” spirit inside and especially loved being around his brother’s foster child Yosh. He enjoyed working with his hands on any construction project from as simple as a fence, to building a house with his uncle Brian. He was a kind soul, tender hearted and would always help someone out with anything, anytime.
Growing up, he played hockey with Nickel Centre Minor Hockey for years and occasionally still laced up for old-timers’ nights with his dad at Garson Arena.
When not working on a project or with the company of family and friends, Greg was an animal lover. He was fond of the time spent with his feline buddy, his “lil man”, Theo, who was his animal companion along the journey of life.
Greg’s time spent with us was short and he will be very missed by his mom and dad, brother, aunt Brenda and Bernie, cousins Matt, Kevin and Steph, uncle Brian and aunt Susie, cousins Mandy and Jenny. His grandmother Dorothy, uncle Peter, aunts Karen and Joanne and the many others he touched in his life.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to an animal shelter of your choice can be made.
Funeral Mass, Friday, December 1st, 2023 at 11am at the St. John The Evangelist Church, Garson, ON.
