LAUZON, Wilfrid Edmond - The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at the age of 95 years. Son of the late Ernest and the late Clémence (née Perreault) Lauzon.Loving father of Ray Lauzon (Linda) of Regina, Sask. Predeceased by his son Eddy. He will be deeply missed by Viola Constantineau, his loving companion of 18 years and her daughter Marleen Viianen. Dear brother of Jeannette (Mrs. Clifford Johns) and Eddy. Predeceased by his brothers Hector (Leona) and Larry (Theresa). He dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his granddaughter Laurie Shaw (Mike) and great-granddaughter Sabrina as well as his step children Bob Sheppard, Audrey Farrell and Linda St. Onge. Uncle Willy was also adored by his niece Diane Cusson and admired by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Florence Lauzon (née Desforges), his step-daughters Jean Seagrove and Christine Townsend, grandson Robert Seagrove and great- grandson Travis Lopes. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Theresa Dawn, Michelle, Danielle, Laurie-Ann, Terry, Ken, Charlene, Lance, Natalie, Diana, Heather, Denise, Susan, Bob, Karen, Diane, Cathy and survived and loved by many great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his engaging personality, generous spirit, sense of humour, someone who impacted many people over the course of his life. Wilfrid retired from Inco after 44 years working as a mechanic and crane operator. He was a former honorary member of the RCL Branch 553, Chelmsford, Quarter Century Club INCO and United Steelworkers of America Lifetime Membership. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, on Friday from 7 - 9:30 p.m, Saturday from 9-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at (time and location to be confirmed). Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer's Society or the SickKids Foundation.
