LAVALLÉE, Lucien - 1923 - 2012 It is with great sorrow that our family announces Lucien's passing in Kanata Ontario at the age of 89 on September 9th, 2012. Son of the late Oliva Lavallée and of the late Gracia Lavallée (née Cardinal). Beloved husband of 58 years of Rachel Lavallée (née Perrier). He leaves in grief his dear children François (Janis), Hubert (Norma), Normand (Dalia), Marielle McMorran (Scott) and Jocelyne. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Eric, Ian, Sarah, Melissa Georgopoulos (Constantin), Sara, Julia, Amanda, Alexis, Sabrina and Philip. Dear brother of Germain (Cordilia), Odile Laurin (late René), Gisèle Daoust (late Albert) and Claudette (Laurent Poulin). He was predeceased by 3 sisters Lucille Potvin (late Luc), Aurore Henri (late Armand), Rita Nadeau (late Paul St-Amour, late Josephat) and 7 brothers Adrien (Jeanne d'Arc), Aurèle, Eugène (late Marie), Gaston, Magloire (late Rita), Urbain (late Jeanne), and Fernand (Adrienne). He also leaves many dear brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Lucien was a resident of Azilda and Blezard Valley Ontario for most of his life, and lived in Stittsville and Kanata for the last 12 years. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of HULSE, PLAYFAIR & MCGARRY, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Byron) Ottawa on Friday, September 14th from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish, Kanata, on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 at 1 p.m., followed by a gathering of family and friends after the service.
