LAVALLÉE, Lynne

October 24, 2021 57 years old

Marie L

1964-2021

She danced to the rhythm of the universe, she spoke with the rhythm of her heart, and loved from the depths of her soul.
On October 24th, 2021, at the age of 57, the Universe lost a wonderful woman, and Heaven gained an Angel.
A beautiful and courageous soul she was. A vibrant woman who looked at life for what it was and navigated through it with will and determination. She taught the many who loved and adored her sparkling personality what it meant to be courageous and the true meaning of “never giving up”.  If you knew Lynne, you knew that she was truly genuine and the most committed person when it came to loving her family and friends. She had an energy about her that made her vibrant personality contagious to be around. She was the friend and family member who made gatherings the most memorable as she took those opportunities as her appreciation for life, and never took the moment she shared with those she loved for granted.
Loving daughter of Carmen Bertrand (née Ménard), the late Robert Lavallée and stepdaughter to the late Albert Bertrand. Lynne is survived by her brothers and sisters, Diane Nicholson (Paul), Pierre Caron (Jennifer), Michelle Lavallée (Jeremy), Renée Lavallée (Chris) and Christopher Chaulk (Randi). She was predeceased by her brother Denis Lavallée (Cecile). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Rob Brisebois (Stacia), Jocelyne Lavallée (Shawn), Devin Nicholson, Meagan Nicholson-Leliveld (Andrew), Joshua Caron (Cindy), Rebecca-Lynn, Desiree Lavallée, Rylee Lavallée, Kenydee Lavallée, Déja Newell and Chloe Chaulk. She will be equally missed by her great-nieces and nephews, Payton, Holden, Elijah, and Easton.
Lynne always made returning to her hometown of Sudbury a priority. She looked forward to spending as much time as possible with her mother.  Lynne’s commitment to her mother was strong and sincere. She longed for the comfort, happiness, and protection of her mother. Family members knew when Lynne returned home, as she made sure she did her rounds and continued to spread her love.
Lynne was always known to take chances and never feared new beginnings. When the changes in her life brought forth challenges, she viewed them as another opportunity to grow. She never had to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness. Lynne gave herself time and space to try different things and explored different paths. She reminded everyone that no matter where her path lead her, she would get to where she wanted to go, and understood the importance of enjoying the journey along the way.
If anyone knew Lynne, they knew that her friendships were an impactful part of her life. Her friendships meant the world to her. Her friendships were a solid part of her foundation of who she was, and a very important piece of her journey. She spoke of her friends, like she spoke of her family. She loved them unconditionally and valued each memory.  Lynne’s friends loved her deeply. They appreciated her “say what you feel, find your passion, love with every ounce of your bones, stand up for what you believe in, don’t settle and never apologize for who you are” outlook on life. Her friends held the line for her, they supported her, and placed her precious soul first during the past year and the battle she faced. Lynne spoke often about how forever grateful she was to have such special people in her life.
Lynne will be spoken of often, her memory cherished forever, her story told and the energy she brought to life will continue to be felt as she watches over and protects the very people who meant the world to her. Lynne always spoke about the importance of not taking life for granted, and to appreciate every second. Our brave and courageous Lynne will not only be missed but cherished forever and always.
In Lynne’s memory, donations made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury, Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
Lynne’s family has decided that a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2022, when the sun is shining and the crisp, bright fresh air captures her presence.
Our Sweet Lynne,
For the rest of our lives, we will search for moments full of you……Love Everyone.
