LAVOIE Paul Emile - In Loving Memory of Paul Emile Lavoie, 84 years, Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Hermance (D’Anjou) Lavoie predeceased 2002. Loving father of Lina Sexton (husband Kenneth), France Lavoie and Pauline Rutherford (husband John). Cherished Grandpa of Bryan and Paul. Dear son of Prudent and Rose (Emond) Lavoie predeceased. Loving brother of Marie-Ange (Paul-Eugene Dumais predeceased), Jeanne (Robert Bard predeceased), Armand predeceased, Simonne (Renel D’Anjou), Helene (Germain Lefebvre), Lucile (Gerard Theriault predeceased), Marcel, Marguerite (Réal Legacé), Camille (Micheline Levesque) and Claire (Jean Lacasse). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A longtime Cartier resident, Paul spent many years working with E.B. Eddy Forest products as an owner/operator of logging trucks, harvesting trees in the Ramsey area. A Roman Catholic, he belonged to St. Francois Xavier church in Cartier and he had been a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. Paul was a passionate outdoorsman who was happiest fishing and hunting with his wife Hermance, family and friends. Paul will be remembered for his inspired work ethic, affinity for nature and devotion to his loving family. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Francois Xavier Church, Cartier, Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at 11am. Interment in the Cartier Cemetery.
