LAWLER, William (Bill) Robert, MD, FRCS (C) - With great sadness the family announces his passing in Raglan Village, Collingwood, May 11, 2013. Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 62 years Barbara, his 5 children Dave (Connie), Sue, Nancy (Mark), John (Heather) and Judy (Rod) and grandchildren Brett, Jeffrey, Scott, Madeline, Ryan, Will, Kelly, Sydney, Melanie, Sean, and Marisol. Born in 1925 in Toronto, he graduated from UTS in '42, medicine in the class of '47, surgical fellowship in '57 then practiced surgery in Sudbury, ON (1957-2004). A gentle man with a twinkle in his eye, Bill was known for his dry wit and caring ways and a love for sailing, curling & Georgian Bay.
