In loving memory of William “Billy” Lawson, 46 years who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Beloved son of William “Whipper” Lawson (partner Linda) and Jane Leonard (husband Shannon). Loving brother of Mathew Lawson (partner Tina). Cherished uncle of Blake Lawson. Billy will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a proud steelworker that enjoyed the camaraderie of his co-workers at Vale's Coleman Mine. His infectious smile and kind heart was loved by all who knew him. Billy was a single man who loved the outdoors, his favorite passion was fishing with his fur buddy Bear and he was a very successful angler. He loved sunsets and sunrises and all animals. Billy also was a member of the Copper Cliff Curling Club for many years and enjoyed many years in the social aspect of the game then the game itself. He made many friends over the years as he was also one of the most generous individuals you could meet. Billy lived life to the fullest and his love for the moment was what most of us envy. His quick witted and positive personality will be cherished forever!
