LEBEL, Yvon Joseph “Vono“ - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Sudbury on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Alexandre Lebel and the late Marie Lebel (née Brasseur). Beloved husband of 56 years to Mona Lebel (née Pauzé) of Sudbury. Loving father of Francine Butler of Tara, ON and of Monique Fraser (Mark) of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of Danielle and Nicole Fraser. Dear brother of Gilbert Lebel (late Mae), Rheal Lebel (Jeannine), Jean-Guy Lebel (Heidi). Predeceased by his brothers and sister, Gilles Lebel, Jean-Paul Lebel (Argie), Laure Kotyk (Michael) and Raymond Lebel (Bernadette). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Yvon retired from Inco after 30 years of service. He was a great outdoors man who loved spending family time cottaging in Temiscaming. An avid birdwatcher, Yvon was always ready for a great round of horseshoes, he also enjoyed playing pool and getting lots of fresh air while golfing with his friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
