July 9, 1959 - April 17, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Roger’s passing on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the age of 64. Loving partner and best friend to Lynn for 34 years.

Loving father to Lianne Depatie (James), Mathieu (Amy Watts) and Christine Aucoin (Nathan). Cherished Pepere Rog to Grayson and Lily and cherished Grandpa to Sylas and Lucas.

Loving son of the late Leonard Lebreton (predeceased) and left to mourn his passing, his mother Annette Lebreton (née Langevin). Dear brother to Richard (Diane), Denise and Denis (Karen).

Roger also leaves behind his childhood buddies Donald Rodrigue (Doune) and Marc Couillard. The Flour Mill jamming boys. Roger was an incredibly talented guitar player who played in the band Loose Change for years. Roger was the happiest when in the bush with nature. He loved camping, fishing, making his delicious homemade chili, playing music and singing his Ricky Skaggs; specifically, the song Highway 40 Blues. Roger was a devoted father and loved his family very much. He will be missed by all and by his fur baby Buddy.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff on the 4th floor, North Tower at Health Sciences North for the care and compassion they offered Roger during his short stay.

As per Roger’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no service but rather a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated.

The family would like to extend their sincere thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences from family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
