LEGAULT, Gilbert Lawrence (Bud) - August 9, 1921 – December 16, 2012 After a full life, Bud passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the age of 91 years. Born and raised in Capreol, ON, Bud worked for the CNR. During World War II Bud was a foreman at the Inglis Plant in Toronto, ON. After the war Bud again worked for the CNR and then VIA Rail as a ticket agent for forty-three years throughout Ontario, retiring in North Bay, ON and moving to his hometown of Capreol, and finally re-locating to Windsor, ON. After the passing of his wife Lottie in 2004, Bud successfully relocated to Calgary from Windsor at the age of 84. An avid hockey fan, Bud also enjoyed telling stories, playing cribbage and fishing. Bud is survived by his son Don and his wife Beverley of Windsor, ON; daughter Lynn and her husband Perry Scott ; and his only grandson Graeme Scott all of Calgary, AB; his sister Jean and her husband Verino (Tag) Taggliabracci, and sister-in-law Eleanor and her late husband Rex Legault all of Capreol, ON. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty years, Charlotte (Lottie) Legault (nee Merkley). A celebration of Bud's life will be held in Windsor, ON at a later date.
