Lenti, Carlo

LENTI, Carlo - Carlo Lenti passed away on Sunday morning, August 2nd, 2009. Born in Gallo di Petriano, Italy in 1923, Carlo married Elisa (Olmeda) in 1949, moved to Timmins in 1949 and to Sudbury in 1951 where he has resided ever since. Beloved husband of Elisa and father of Tino (friend Pat), Claudio (Liisa), Rita Boucher (Charlie) and Patricia Brutto (Elio). Grandfather of Angela, Sandra, Jamie (Mindy) and Kristen Brutto and of Kelsey Lenti and Brenna Lenti (predeceased), as well as great-grandfather of Isabella Brutto. Father-in-law of Ronda Lenti. Carlo worked at INCO's Copper Refinery until retirement and enjoyed cards, bocce, travel, wine-making, wild mushrooms and most of all, his family. He especially enjoyed reading and had a thirst for knowledge. Carlo was an active member of the Caruso Club and of the Mine-Mill union during his working days. He sang, joked, told stories, looked out for us and loved us all. Many thanks to the caring staff at Pioneer Manor. Donations to the Diabetes or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
