It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert LEROUX, 78 years of age, at his home in Niagara Falls April 13, 2020, with his loving wife and cherished sons by his side. This was followed after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer that he fought with determination. Son of Bob and Alice Leroux, both deceased. Loving and devoted husband and best friend to Nina, proud and devoted father to his sons Don (Janis), Yves (Connie). Adoring grandfather to Danielle, Eric, Renee, Ryan and great grandfather to Luca his special buddy. Sadly missed by his sister Micheline (Emmanuel) step brothers Norman, Camile (deceased), Victor and their mother Alma. Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Lori and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Robert was a special man, a caring bear with a heart of gold. Robert lived a life full of love for Nina and his family. After retirement Robert and Nina spent winters in Puerto Vallarta until his illness. He took great pride in his home, his cars and meticulously attending to his yard, the envy of the neighbourhood. His children and grandchildren will fondly remember Christmas Eve’s with Robert dressing up as Santa. He was a great cook known for his delicious baked beans and his famous boiled icing on the birthday cakes. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19 and Robert’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. “If love could of saved you....you would still be here”.
