LEVESQUE, Joan Mary (nee Lavalley) - In Loving Memory of Joan Mary Levesque (nee Lavalley) 47 years Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday March 23rd, 2012 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, following a courageous and year long battle with cancer. Best friend and beloved wife of David Levesque of Sudbury. Loving mother of Kyle predeceased 1989, Courtney (friend Greg Beaudoin) and Evan both at home. Grandmother to the light of her life Lucas. Cherished daughter of Ken and Jean Lavalley of Byng Inlet, and granddaughter of Edith Deshevy (husband Anthony Barksey and husband Russell Deshevy both predeceased) of Byng Inlet. Special daughter-in-law of Rheaume and Barbara Levesque of Sudbury. Dearest sister of Jane (husband Donny Blizzard) of Peterborough and Peter (wife Roxanne) of Cambridge, sister-in-law of John (Susan) and Doug (Wanda) and loving aunt to Andrea, Don, Tegan, Chelsea, Craig and Cory. Will be sadly missed by her canine friend Reggie as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joan had a passion for the outdoors, always hunting, fishing and camping with her family. She worked many years for CIBC, and finished her career working for Service Canada. She touched everyone she met in some way, and inspired all to make the most of each day. Joan will be remembered for her infectious laugh, smile, big heart and passion to live each day to the fullest.
