LEWIS, Myrna (nee Clarke) - In loving memory of Myrna Lewis (Clarke) 68 years who passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 6th, 2013 at the Elizabeth Centre with her children at her side. Beloved wife of Jack Lewis predeceased in 2008. Loving mother of Wendy Beauparlant (Bruce) and Michael Lewis (Dear mother-in-law to Nathalie). Dear grandmother of Justin, Adrien and Hunter. Beloved daughter of Gladys Galloway and the late William Clarke predeceased in 1969. Dear sister of Willie Keller (Morris), Jim Clarke, predeceased in 1977, Don Clarke (Judy) and Robert Clarke. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Myrna was an elementary teacher for many years with the Sudbury Board of Education. Myrna was a woman of faith and she spent many years of her life as a CGIT Youth Group Leader with the United Church and at one time served as the President of the CGIT Executive for the province of Ontario. She also enjoyed spending time with her family on Manitoulin Island. She was very proud of her children and their accomplishments and she loved her grandsons dearly. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and after 10:30 AM Saturday. Funeral service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Cremation with interment on Manitoulin Island. Memorial donations to the Huntington Society would be appreciated by the family.
