LILLEY, Georgina (Georgie) - at Stone Lodge, Guelph, on Monday January 7, 2013. Georgina (Georgie) (Price) Lilley, age 101 & 3/4 years, beloved wife of the late John Norman Lilley (1998). Mother and best friend to her daughter, Ann Lilley, who has been lucky and grateful to have had love and guidance for so many years. Dear sister of the late Melville Price (1944); Carolyn Middleton (1997) and Isabelle Jane Tirrell (2009). Survived by sisters-in-law May Tait and Vivian Lilley both of Toronto and many, many nieces and nephews. (including a few great, great, greats). Also sadly missed by her feline buddy, Charlie. Georgie was an early feminist long before it was popular; a wonderful role model and displayed her generous spirit in large and often small quiet ways. She was wise, humorous and interested in life, business, learning and travel until the very end. Cremation has taken place, as per Georgie's request. A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date to celebrate this remarkable women.
