LIND, Mary “Mamie“ (MacKenzie) - In Loving Memory of Mary “Mamie“ (MacKenzie) Lind 92 years, peacefully Monday, March 12th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Bernie Lind predeceased 2000. Loving mother of Patricia (husband Blaine Smith), Donna (husband Glenn Brisebois) and Connie (husband Paul Lepage). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (husband Brad Foreman), James and Jeffery. Dear daughter of James and Mary (Bowers) MacKenzie predeceased. Dear sister of Kaye Colter, Duncan MacKenzie and predeceased by Robert MacKenzie and Helen McLaughlin. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Nova Scotia, Mary moved to Sudbury in 1947, the same year she married Bernie Lind at Christ the King Church. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a founding member of St. Patrick's Church and a faithful member of the parish CWL. She was an avid Bridge player and keen gardener. Mary was devoted to her family especially her precious grandchildren. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury, Thursday, March 15th, 2012 at 10am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Roman Catholic Cemetery. Parish Prayers 7:30pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Friends may call 5:30-8:30pm Wednesday only.
