LINTON, Mrs. Lillian (Bunny) Bernice - 1920 - 2011 Of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Bunny was born on April 8, 1920 In Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was raised and took schooling in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and worked in an administrative capacity in the war offices in Ontario during the second World War. She met and married Emerson Linton in 1943, and they continued to reside in Kirkland Lake for many years where they raised their 4 children. She moved to Red Deer in 2003 after Emerson's passing. Bunny was an avid reader and loved cottage life. Bunny will be greatly missed by her children: Karen (Murray) Wickett, of North Bay, Ontario; Lanny (David) Wilson, of Red Deer, Alberta; Ron (Hélène Graham) Linton, of Gatineau, Quebec; four grandchildren: Shannon (Keith) Loyer, of Barrie, Ontario; Erin (Kevin) Duff, of North Bay, Ontario; Jason (Amy Kratchmer) St. Peter, of Red Deer, Alberta; Megan Linton, of Gatineau, Quebec; and eight great- grandchildren: Andrea, Sarah, Chad, Drake, Blair, Jayden, Chase and Hanah. She is also survived by her sisters Gerry Bryant, of Windsor, Ontario and Jean O'Grady, Brampton, Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bunny was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Emerson Linton, son Paul Linton and grandson Casey Linton. A Memorial Service for the late Bunny Linton will be held at EVENTIDE FUNERAL CHAPELS, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The family expresses their sincere thanks to all the staff of B1 Unit at Bethany Collegeside for providing such kindness and care to our mother. A special thank you to Dr. Nav Rattan for the excellent medical care he provided Bunny.
