LLOYD, Thomas Hodgins - In loving memory of Thomas Hodgins Lloyd, 89 years, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved husband of Barbara (Rennick) Lloyd of Falconbridge. Loving father of Tim (Sandy) of Ottawa, David of Boyle, Alberta, Ellen (John Wismer) of Sudbury and James of Arnprior. Cherished grandfather of Evan, Peter, Scott, Katie, Megan, Chris and Zachary. Dear son of Thomas and Kathleen Lloyd both predeceased. Dear brother of Mary predeceased. Born in Kingston, Ontario, he was raised in Temagami. Thomas served in the RCAF for 44 months in Canada and Europe. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a BScF. Thomas joined the M.J. Poupore Lumber Company in 1950, retiring in 1982 as Vice President of Operations. He was responsible for some of the original restoration of trees and grass in the Falconbridge area. He was a proud member of the C.I.F. and O.F.I.A. serving as director of Forest Products Research. Thomas was a Life member of Nickel Lodge #427 and a Past Master of National Lodge #588. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 336, Falconbridge, receiving his 50 year pin in 1995.  A special thank you to the staff at Pioneer Manor and Health Sciences North Memorial Site. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Monday, April 30th, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.
