LOFTUS, Charles Edward - In loving memory of Charles Edward Loftus 74 years Peacefully Friday, February 10th, 2012 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Ida (Dahinel) Loftus. Loving father of Richard Loftus, Robert Loftus (wife Bernice), Edna Mackintosh (friend Don Roy), Shawn Loftus (fiancée Karrie Cordingley), stepchildren Robert Yensen and Gilbert Yensen (wife Ann). Cherished grandfather of Cameron, Melissa, Cortney, Steven and Alex. Dear son of Charles and Anna (Petersen) Loftus predeceased. Dear brother of Gerry Loftus (wife Armande). Charles had been an inspector with the Sudbury Health Unit for 35 years, retiring in 1996 and he went on to work for Health Canada for six years. He enjoyed the outdoors where he hunted and trapped. Charles was devoted to his loving family. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. BARNARD CHAPEL, JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 1pm. Cremation with interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 10am Tuesday).
