LONGE, Frank - In loving memory of Frank Longe, 69 years, Monday, October 22nd, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Jeannine (Levesque) Longe of Garson. Loving father of David (Tammy) of Garson. Cherished grandfather of Veronica. Dear son of Franklin and Florence Longe both predeceased. Dear brother of Dorothy Dodge of Calgary, Frances Lawson (John) of Garson and Judy Demers (Julien) of Hanmer. Sadly missed by 13 nieces and nephews and special fishing buddies Mike and George. Born in Guelph, Frank served with the Canadian Army and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 336, Falconbridge. He worked at Falconbridge Nickel Mine as a machinist for 28 years, retiring in 1997. Frank was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, having served on the Parish Council. In his youth he was an avid curler. He enjoyed baseball and had a passion for fishing. He will be sadly missed, but always remembered with love. Resting at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church Garson Friday, October 26th, 2012 at 10am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 3pm Thursday. A memorial service will be held 7:30pm Thursday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 336, Falconbridge. Donations to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Thursday).
