Loving mother of Doreen (Glen) Ferguson of Amhurstburg, ON, Gordon (Maria) of Camrose, AB, Joan (Rick) Leclair of Oakville, ON, Arnold of St. Albert, AB, Marie (Massimo) Sorcinelli of Grande Prairie, AB, Audrey (Ron) Lavallée of Dowling, ON, Irene (Dave) Balsom of Cochrane, AB, Gerry (Helen) of Kitchener, ON, Brian of St. Albert, AB, Ruby (Peter) Yawney of Sudbury, ON, Raymond (predeceased), Carol (Alberto) Guerra of Azilda, ON and Dan (Kae) of Leamington, ON. Cherished grandmother of Douglas, Julie (Jonathan), Lori, Ryan, Kyler, Dana (Sarah), Robert (Jessica), Patrick, Heather, Samantha, Joshua, Heidi, Braden, Liam, Kalin, Nicolas, Miyako and great grandchildren Elaina and Brooklynn. Dear daughter of Roelof and Lamberta Kiers both predeceased. Dear sister of Jan (Janet), Jentje (predeceased), Wally (Edna), John predeceased (Helen), Henry (predeceased), Roelie (Bill) and Barbara. Special sister-in- law to Edward (Ethel) both predeceased, Raymond predeceased (Dorothy), Bernice (Ray Clark predeceased), Bill (Marjorie), Norm (Jean) both predeceased, Bruce (Mary) both predeceased, Harold (Gloria), John and Margaret. Sadly missed by many “adopted“ children and all her furry friends, her many nieces and nephews and their families, as well as numerous friends and family in her beloved Netherlands. Missed by all her loving church family, special friends Anne Sinclair, Chris Kovac, Olive and Peter Vanderkooy and Rene Pomerleau. The family wishes to send special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, staff and chaplain of the Fourth Floor oncology/palliative care department at Health Sciences North. Resting at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Friends may call 2-5pm and 7-9pm Wednesday. Funeral Service in Glad Tidings Church 1101 Regent St., Sudbury Thursday, March 28th, 2013 at 1pm. Interment in the Creemore Cemetery.
