It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Lyons (née Decosse).

Jeannine was a devoted wife of 43 years of the late George Lyons.

Daughter of the late Victor and Yvette Decosse (née Lamontagne)

Dedicated mother of Gisele Lyons (late Steve Lebel), Diane Lyons-Benard, Ed Lyons (Lynn), Jacqueline Morneau (Rob).

Treasured Grand-mother of Christine Johnstone (Corey), Todd Prud’homme, Amber Elliott, Jean-Claude Benard, Veronique Ethier (Travis), George Lyons (Katelynn), Brook Morneau, Chelsea Morneau, Meghan Morneau.

Adored Great-Grandmother of Lindsay, Kassandra, Joshua, Jacob, Bryce, Freya & Jaxxon.

Great-Great Grandmother of Hudson; (5 Generations)

Loving Sister of Denise Belanger, Normand Decosse (Lilliane), Murielle Lalonde (late Rheal), the late Jeanne Moncion (Hubert), Roland “Joe” Decosse (Diane), the Late Claudette Spencer (Lawnie), Lorraine Decosse, Roger Decosse (Marilyn), Raymond Decosse (Lisa), Denis Decosse (Pierrette), Maurice Decosse (Jocelyne), Suzanne Lapointe (Darren), Diane LeBlanc (Rick), Carole Hawes (Brian).

Jeannine will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as her many of her dear friends and past working colleagues.

Jeannine married and settled in Azilda where she resided for 60 years.

She raised her 4 children and loved to spoil all her grandchildren.

She worked at Scotia Bank for 20 years.

She was always the life of the party; an avid bowler; loved her weekend getaways to the Casino and enjoying breakfast on Saturdays with the “Girls”.

A Celebration of life will follow at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
