Standing at 5 feet 6 inches tall and middle weight class, our beloved Chum left us before last call on July 2, 2023, at the young age of 42. A lifelong, witty, sarcastic, charmer, Trevor was best known for his gift of gab and infectious smile.  He captivated those around him, whether it was at Rockport, Crosstown, the hockey rinks or a neighbourhood garage. Many would say he was the life of the party, or just never left the party until his wife said, “Let’s go!".

Born and raised in Sudbury, Trevor met the love of his life, Kerri (Welsh), who he quickly swept off her feet, literally, as he ran around keeping the house clean and the family fed. Leaving behind his greatest gifts of all, his two beautiful children, Hailey and Aiden, with who will be surrounded by memories, and much love from family and friends.

Survived by his mother, Debi (Murray) and father, Blair (Phyllis), brother Ian (Allie), in-laws Mike, Nora, Keith (Kathy), nieces and nephew Ava, Grace, Kensington, Madeline, James, and his furry princess Lilyloo. His presence will be missed by his dear friends Derek and Jenn and many aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings, co-workers, extended family and friends.

Trevor loved all sports and passed this passion onto his son Aiden. He also passed on his need to have the last word to his daughter Hailey. He “1000%” lived everyday to the fullest, with a smile on his face and a story, or many, to tell. He enjoyed quality time with his buddies on the golf course, baseball field, horseshoe pit, even though he wasn’t that great at it, or surrounding the BBQ while he cooked steaks for all to enjoy.

Trevor leaves a void that no other will replace in the lives of all who loved him. There is “not a chance” that Trevor would want us to sit and mourn.  Instead, he would be heckling us to grab a beverage, cheers one another, and share stories for years to come.

“Daddy, we miss you everyday and love you always. Until we meet again! “All our love, Hailey & Aiden xoxo”
