MAJOR, Raymond - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Edmond and the late Flora (née Ménard) Major. Husband of the late Christine Major (née Osborne). Beloved father of Luc Major, Ginette Major both of Hanmer and Pierre Major of Sudbury. Predeceased by his daughter Lynne Huffman (late James). Dear brother of Jacqueline Piché (René), Léonie Desjardins (late Pierre) and Adrienne Courchesne (Claude) all of Field and Pauline St-George (Gerry) of Sturgeon Falls. Cherished grandfather to Matthew, Melanie, Jason, Farrah, Christine and Melissa. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
