MAKAREC, Gertrud (nee Czayka) - In loving memory of Gertrud Makarec (nee Czayka) 91 years who passed away March 6TH 2013 AT Health Sciences North with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Antin Makarec and dear and beloved mother of Maria (Christian ) Heindl of North Bay, Katherine (Stephan )Taylor of New Jersey, and Darka (Bruce) Makarec of Fort Erie. Dear and loving grandmother of Nicholas, Jonathan, Hannah and Ethan. Gertrud is predeceased by her parents Otto and Elizabeth (nee Schultz) and by her brothers Otto and Bruno Czayka and also survived by her sister Adelheid Kruck of Germany. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch Street (friends may call 6-9 pm with Panakhyda (prayers) at 7.p.m. Funeral service in the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home Chapel Saturday March 9th 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment at the Civic Cemetery.
