In Loving Memory of Robert “Bob” Raymond Maki 75 years Monday, June 7th, 2010 at Finlandia Village.Beloved husband of Barbara (Kett) Maki of Sudbury. Loving father of Laura-Lee (Kevin Green) of Chelmsford and Robert Jr. of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Gary (Tiffany) and Jordan. Dear son of Kalle and Laura Maki both predeceased. Dear brother of Bill (Frances) of Lively, predeceased by Carl, Eric, Liala, Valma and Harry. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Sudbury, where he married Barbara in 1957. Bob worked as a mechanic at Maki’s Garage, then as a service manager at Cambrian Ford, retiring from Sudbury Fine Cars. He was a past member of the Lockerby Kiawanis Club and a member of the Knights of Kaleva. In younger days, he enjoyed race car driving. Bob had a passion for classical music, reading and boating. He will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to his family. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Friday, June 11th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
