MARCOTTE, Émilien Archie - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the age of 94 years. Son of late Joseph and Anna (née DeCourville) Marcotte. Husband of the late Desneiges Marcotte (née Pilon), late brothers and sisters, Albert, Jean-Paul, Laurent, Yvonne, Yollande, Marguerite, Jeanne and Gabrielle. Beloved father of Suzanne (Roger) Gaudreau, Maurice (Reina), Ernest, Claude (Georgette) and June (Georges) Servant. Predeceased by his sons Robert (Françoise) and Roger. Dear brother of Réné, Blanche and Rollande. Sadly missed by over 90 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A millwright until his retirement, Emilien built and operated Cedar Grove Park for the past 37 years. He enjoyed and valued the personal relationships of each and every member in his campground, and very much appreciated their patronage. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St-Jean- de-Brébeuf church, Sudbury.
