Cherished “Mamère“ to Sean Collison (Danica Thibert) of Hanmer, Joel Marin (Christina Bruno) of Sudbury, Scott Collison (Sara Fitzpatrick) of Vancouver. Proud great-grandmother to Logan Rumball (Marin) and Loic Collison and mother-in-law to Wendy Marin of Lively. Dear daughter of Alfred and Léa (Bourque) Boudreau both predeceased. Loving sister to Armand Boudreau, Omer Boudreau, Maurice Boudreau, Angeline Boudreau, Roger Boudreau, Conrad Boudreau (all predeceased) and survived by her siblings Aurore Morin of Port Cartier PQ, Theodore Boudreau of Baie Comeau PQ, Valmont Boudreau (Yollande) of St-Jean-de- Cherbourg PQ, Lucille (Roger) Lupien of Ste. Agathe PQ and Raymond (Michelle) Boudreau of Montreal PQ. Sister-in-law to Leonard Marin, Berthe Marin, Victoire Veillieux, Honore Marin, Gabrielle (Paul) Lancup, Jean-Marie Marin, (all predeceased) Gertrude Dumas and Estelle Pelltier. Claudine is survived by countless nieces and nephews who held her in high esteem for the kind and generous person she was. Although they numbered more than a 100 from both the Boudreau and Marin side of the family she remembered all of their birthdates and kept in touch with them by phone. Claudine was born in Godbout Quebec on 22 February 1931, where she was raised in a very loving family. She and her 11 siblings lived in a positive and caring environment which resulted in Claudine being the warm, giving and generous person that she was all her life. Claudine moved Sudbury from Quebec after marrying soul-mate and love-of- her- life Rosario in 1950. After Linda was born Claudine and Rosario moved to Lively in 1952, where she continued to live in her own home until her last day. It is in this town that she met many loving friends and with much determination she learned to speak English. She was a helping friend to so many people in the Lively community including residents in Meadowbrook. She took care of family and friends throughout their terminal illnesses and was a confidant to many who suffered personal tragedies. Claudine was an excellent seamstress and was a DYI (do-it-yourself) expert (plumber, carpenter, upholsterer, electrician, house painter, home decorator, etc.) To those who knew her, she was the go-to-person for many household repairs and decorating consultations. In her earlier years to survive the effects of an empty nest Claudine worked 10 years for Electrolux selling vacuum cleaners door to door, and proved to be one of their top sales agents. She was not a high pressure salesperson but a sincere listener to all of her potential customers. She will be greatly missed by all her friends including Sharon and Sheldon Latendre, Gail and Russ Empie, Noella Treasure, Gwen McLaughlin, Tracey, Angela, and all her neighbours from 11th Avenue both past and present. Our family thanks you for all the care and compassion you share with our mother for the many years she lived in the town of Lively. She loved you all! Special thanks to Dr Koop for having been accessible for Claudine in her time of need. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury.
