MARKUS, Kimberly Ann - In Loving Memory of Kimberly Ann Markus, 46 years, who passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 2nd, 2011 at Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of Jon Tomori of Garson. Loving daughter of Robert and Gloria Mae Scott (nee Gibson) Markus of Pembroke. Dear sister of Rob (wife Vicky) and Tina (husband Peter Savage) both of Pembroke and special sister-in-law of Shannon Martin (husband Jim) of Sudbury. Will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, her best pals and soul sisters Anne Marie MacInerney, Anne Salter, Cindy Fielding and by her lovable canine children Jake and Hunter and kitty Tang. Born in Pembroke, Kim was a well-know and talented hairstylist for many years. She was much loved by her family, friends and loyal clientele for her wonderful ability to empathize, to see the silver lining in every situation, and her magical way of making you feel revitalized. A devoted animal lover and outdoor enthusiast, a skilled angler and an excellent gardener and landscaper, she also enjoyed cross country skiing, snowshoeing and especially spending time with the ones she loved. Always creative, she was a confidant woman who will be forever lovingly remembered for her compassion for others and for her zest for life. A special Thank You to Dr. Brian Lynch and all the 6th floor and ICU nursing staff for their care and compassion during Kim's illness. A memorial visitation will be held at the Caruso Club (lower hall), 385 Haig St., Sudbury.
