Andrew Alexander Hastings Martin
1989 - 2021
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew Alexander Hastings Martin of Sudbury, Ontario.
Born on June 15th, 1989 he was first of three children born to Margaret-Ann Nelson. Andrew is cherished big brother to Jarret and Amber. He is also a passionate father to Amelie, 11 and Liam, 9 - he always felt honored to be called “dad.” Andrew is a good friend and is cared for by many others, including his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Andrew had a great knowledge of wildlife. He could talk for hours about reptiles, plants, fish, and mammals alike. He was curious and excited about new ideas surrounding ecosystems and put a great amount of time and care into learning as much as he could about all thing’s nature related.
There will be a service for Andrew at Simple Wishes of the North Inc, 1106 Kingsway, on Tuesday April 20th, from 11am to 3pm, public visitation starts at 12:45pm. The family will have some private time from 11am to 12:30pm please allow them to have this time. We ask that friends show up at 12:45pm. Please take Covid procedures and wear a mask and use hand sanitizer.
