MARTIN, Rita Yollande (nee Levesque) - In loving memory of Rita Yollande Martin (nee Levesque), 83 years. Peacefully, Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at the Extendicare Falconbridge with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Victor Martin predeceased 2008. Loving mother of Doris Barnett, Diane Martin-Jones, Donald Martin (Denise), Giselle Dubois (Yvon) and Ginette Rouselle (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Diana, Carol predeceased, James, Christopher, Jeffrey, Allain, Donald Jr., Mathew, Renee, Sophie, Jonathan, Rebecca, Stefanie and 14 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Louis and Josephine (Beaulieu) Levesque both predeceased. Dear sister of Elzire Labelle, Laurain Levesque, Leo Levesque, Romeo Levesque, Reine Levesque and Eva Bellaire all predeceased and lovingly remembered by her sisters Laura Groves and Therese Labelle. Born and raised in Rutherglen, Rita married Victor in Coniston in 1945. She was a well-loved and dedicated Foster Mother. A woman of faith, she attended Glad Tidings Tabernacle where she actively participated in the church's ministries and fellowship. Rita will be remembered as a very generous person and devoted mother and grandmother. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family expresses its appreciation to the 3rd Floor East Staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for their patience, compassion and excellent care. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at 11am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery.
