MASKERY, David - In Loving Memory of David Maskery 70 years Sunday, October 30th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Born in Cheddleton, Staffordshire on November 1, 1940, and a graduate of Manchester University, England. He Emigrated to Canada and moved to Sudbury in 1968 to start a career with Inco as an analytical chemist, working there for the next 30 years. An avid outdoorsman and gardener, he also enjoyed cross-country skiing, hiking and badminton. He is predeceased by his wife Maureen Maskery, 1982. Survived by his wife Janet Maskery, his children Morag Maskery (Stephen Costello), Neil Maskery (Teresa), Michael Maskery (Jacqueline), Jason, Liana (Christos) and grandchildren Thomas, Brendan, Erica, Jacob, Moreen, Mackenzie, Malcolm, Marshall, Cole and Abigail. Dearly missed by sisters Irene Jewell (Peter) and Julie Cromack (Derek) residing in England and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Gathering at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. with remembrances at 3:30 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
