MASLANKA, Anne (nee Babouski) - It is with great sorrow that the family of Anne Maslanka announces her sudden death at Pioneer Manor, Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Beloved mother of Carl (wife Adriana) of Val Caron and Irene (husband Gilles Vaillancourt) of Chelmsford. She was the loving grandmother of Bruce Maslanka (wife Karen) of Calgary, Cameron Burke of Levack, Sheri (Burke) Plexman (husband Michael) of Thunder Bay and Stephanie (Maslanka) Findlay (husband Michael) of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear great grandmother of Jake Maslanka of Calgary and McKenna Plexman of Thunder Bay and great great grandmother of two. Loving aunt of Frank Villeneuve predeceased Anne , Cote (husband Donald) of Garson and Kathleen MacDonald of Arizona. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank (1992), Parents Frank and Kathleen Babouski, sisters Caroline Villeneuve and Irene Rivers. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she was a kind, loving woman of integrity, courage and determination with her favourite saying to “trust in Jehovah“ and was best known for her unfailing faith, quick sense of humour and her beautiful smile. She always had an encouraging word for everyone and always put others before herself. Her door was always open and innumerable friends will never forget the meals she lovingly provided for them. The family would like to thank Dr. M. St. Martin the staff at Cranberry and Ramsay sections of Pioneer Manor for their care and concern for their beloved mother. In lieu of flowers donatiosn to Watch Tower Society or Charily of your choice. There will be no public visitation or memorial service. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
