MATTE, Peter John (Jack) - Passed away suddenly at home in Barrie on February 13th, 2011 in his 68th year. Loving and devoted husband of 44 years to his wife Carlyn. Loving dad of his 4 children, Gord (Natalie) of Sudbury, Peter (Denise) of Midland, Jennifer (Al) of Nova Scotia, and Janice (Chris) of Barrie. Loving Papa to his 9 grandchildren Kassandra, Kyle, Tyler, Josh, Christopher, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Sara and Emily. Will be sadly missed by his brother Allen of Garson, his sister Thecla (Dave) of Pembroke. Predeceased by his parents Eli and Nellie Matte, brothers Walter, Omar and Earl and sisters Leona and Vida. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or any charity of your choice.
