McBANE, Francis - In Loving Memory of Francis McBane 92 Years. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at the Health Sciences North with his loving family at his bedside. Beloved husband of Katie (Polowich) McBane predeceased. Dear son of Victor and Nellie (Joyce) McBane both predeceased. Loving father of Karen McBane of Sudbury and Joan Sabourin (Jacques) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather (Gramps) of David Sabourin (Maire) of Ottawa and Anne Sabourin (Gaspar) of Toronto. Great grandfather of “Oskar“ of Ottawa. Dear brother of and predeceased by Victor, and Albert. Sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Born in Quyon, Quebec, Francis married Katie in Sudbury in 1942. He worked at INCO (Vale) well over 40 years. A member of Holy Redeemer Church. He will be especially and lovingly remembered for his unfailing devotion to and deep love for his family. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at 9 A.M. Interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Prayers 4:30 P.M Friday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated. (Friends may call 3-9 P.M. Friday).
