McCHARLES. Erika Edelburg (nee Spehner) - In loving memory of Erika Edelgurg McCharles (nee Spehner) 72 years Peacefully Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Donald McCharles predeceased 1969. Loving mother of Tina Rinta (husband Norm predeceased 2006), Lorraine Gauthier (husband Mike), Danny McCharles and Peter Piwniuk. Cherished grandmother of Niki (husband Dan), Terri (Rudy), Kyle, Dana, Ryan (Jana), Alex, Amanda, Ashley, Donald, Amber, Amelia, Abby, Gary, Crystal and many great grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of Karl and Anna Spehner predeceased. Dear sister of Karl-Heinz Huber (wife Irene), Gunther Spehner predeceased (wife Pauline). Erika will be fondly remembered for her exceptional baking and cooking. “Sometimes you do not know the meaning of a moment until it becomes a memory.“ At Erika's request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Elliot Lake Cemetery. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of HSN 9th Floor Dialysis Unit and 3rd Floor Trillium Unit at Pioneer Manor for their excellent care and compassion.
