In Loving Memory of Terrance Mark McCormick
Sunrise: July 17, 1962 – Sunset: January 25, 2024
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our loving father Terry McCormick.
Father to Michael (Jamie), April, and his pup Piper. Grandfather to his “little buddy” Sawyer Ann. Dear son of Joan McCormick (predeceased) and Michael McCormick. Brother of David, Jimmy (Cindy), John, Larry (Kim), Tara (Danny), Michael (predeceased), and Shawn (predeceased). Uncle to Ashley, Shawn, Larry, Meghan, Melissa, Melanie, Darby, Bailey, Lindsay, and many more nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his extended family and many other close friends and work colleagues.
Terry worked at Falconbridge (now Glencore) for over 30 years and held numerous positions including his latest position as Joint Health and Safety Coordinator. He had also donated a lot of time around the community to his union and ran many union events such as the Childrens Christmas party, curling bonspiels, and numerous dances.
He was the life of every party. His humor was second to none and anyone that knew him likely has numerous hilarious stories about his “Seinfeld Episode” type life. He loved getting his family and friends together for social gatherings and would spare no expense to make sure everyone had a great time.
Terry’s family and friends love him deeply and will miss him more than words can express.
A celebration of life that would make him proud will be announced at a later date, closer to the summer.
