McKENZIE, Garry J L - In loving memory of Garry J. L. McKenzie, 68 years, who passed away Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Valerie (Golden) McKenzie. Cherished son of Karl and Yvonne (Gravelle) McKenzie predeceased. Loving brother of Maurice (Jackie) both predeceased, Randolphe (Denise), Patricia Lecoupe and Truman (Ruth). Dear brother in law of Doreen McKenzie, Linda Lamoureux, Ron Golden (Sue), Daphne, Peggy, Alan, and Gates Golden. Special nephew to Jacqueline Gravelle. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A life resident of Sudbury, Garry had worked at Canada Post for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Canada Post Heritage Club and a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. Garry will be remembered as a happy person with an engaging personality and a gift for telling stories. He was happiest when socializing with family and friends. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at 3pm. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Blue Door Café (Soup Kitchen) or Maison Vale INCO Hospice would be appreciated.
