McKNIGHT, Floyd Kenneth - In loving memory of Floyd Kenneth McKnight, 78 years, who passed away Friday, May 7th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mae (Moffatt) McKnight predeceased. Loving father of Glenna (husband Larry Lessard), Kenneth (Jude McCann) and Perry. Cherished grandfather of Linda (Dan), Tina (Paul), Vivian (Gino), Michael, Kenny, Chris (Victoria Cook), Stephanie, April and great grandchildren Tyler, Michael, Kyle, Chance, Crystal, Kayla and Payden. Loving father in law of Nancy Brisson. Dear son of Kenneth and Lucy (Andress) McKnight predeceased. Dear brother of Maime (husband Norman Russell predeceased) and Harley. Dear brother in law of Archie Moffatt. Dear uncle to Susan and Timmy. Born in Copper Cliff, Floyd has lived his life in the Sudbury area. He was a smelterman at INCO, retiring in 1979 with 281/2 years service. Floyd was always quick to help others. He was an advocate and friend to children, having served on the Azilda School Board and as a youth hockey coach. Floyd was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. The focus of his life was his loving family and he was happiest when in their company. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
