McNeill, John David passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the age of 46. Beloved husband of Franca (nee Ricci) and cherished father of Ryan and Andrew. Son of John and Laura Jean McNeill of Sudbury (pre-deceased). Loving brother of Leslie McCue (Tim) of Sudbury and Heather Mete (Frank) of Welland. Dear son-in-law of Primo and Leonilde Ricci of Toronto and brother-in-law of Mary Ricci of BC and Deni Ricci of Toronto. Special step-son of Gino Medina of Sudbury. Adored uncle of Michael, Meghan, Matthew, Talia, Noah, Christopher and Victoria. The essence of John was evident in his everyday life.  He found joy in the simple things; nature, food, music and laughter.  He was selfless and caring.  Always more concerned with giving to and doing for others.  He made those around him feel special and loved; with a smile, a wave, a chat or a hug.  He impacted everyone whose lives he touched – family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and community – in ways that will forever be remembered.  Above all, he cherished family.  His love and devotion were gifts to us all.  His mantra, “I’m living the dream” epitomizes his optimism and positive outlook on life. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home (8101 Weston Road, south of Langstaff Road 905-850-3332) on Saturday, December 29th 6pm-9pm and Sunday, December 30th 6pm-9pm.  The funeral service will be held on Monday December 31st at 11am at Vescio Funeral Home. Music was an important part of John’s life and with this mind, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memoriam to Musicounts at musicounts.ca.  Musicounts mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socio-economic circumstances and cultural background, have access to a music program through their school.Online Condolences at www.vesciofuneralhome.com.
