MELCHIOR, Luigi (Louis) - Of Chesterville, formerly of Sudbury, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in his 88th year. He will be greatly missed by his dear wife Carol Ann (nee Herrington), his beloved children Steven (predeceased 1997), Michael, Scott, and Lynne (David Smith), and his adored grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended Melchior and Herrington families and countless friends. He is predeceased by his parents Ermengildo & Carolina Melchior, and his siblings Guilia Toppazzini, Valeria Travaglini, Fiorina Caernac, and Aldo Malchior. The family will receive friends at MARSDEN & McLAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME, Chesterville, on Sunday, March 6 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 7 at 11 o'clock at St. Mary of the Presentation Church, Chesterville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
