MENARD, Guy Edgar - of CFB Borden, passed away suddenly at his home in Borden, ON, on Sunday April 22nd, 2012 in his 59th year. 28 years of Civilian Service to CFB Borden and a loyal and dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion- Angus Branch # 499. Loving Father of Kimberly, Laura and Marianne. Dearest 1st born son of Roger and Mugette Menard. Lovingly Remembered by his Sister Noella Menard (Yves Sincennes), and his Brothers Charles (Irene) and Marc (Roxanne). Guy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many Nieces, Nephews, family and friends, as well as his many friends from CFB Borden, Angus, Orillia and Sudbury. Guy will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart, and his supportive and caring nature towards his family and friends. At Guy's request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit and pay their respects at THE STEVEN R. BRIDGE FUNERAL HOME, ANGUS on Friday April 27th 2012 from 7:00-9:00pm. A Legion Service will be held on Saturday April 28th 2012 at 1:15pm, (prior to the Memorial Service) at the Funeral Home Chapel. A “Celebration of Guy's Life“ Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at 2:00pm. St. Joseph's Catholic Church, CFB Borden.
