MICHELUTTI, Leo Pietro (Aces) - died peacefully Tuesday March 15th, 2011, at The Maison Vale Inco Hospice at the age of 86.. Beloved husband of 58 years of Matilda Mary (Barazzutti) predeceased 2007. Loving father of Lorraine (Marvin Graf) of Toronto, Louise (Normand Belanger, predeceased 2007) of Calgary, Lisa (Julio Mirabelli) of Sudbury and Lynn Marie (Peter Biasucci) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Michelle Belanger (Robert Gossen), Daniel Belanger predeceased 1999, Diane Fabbricino (Landon), Lauren Mirabelli (Jason Chenard) and Julian Mirabelli. Great grandfather to Caden and Kayla Fabbricino. Dear son of Luigi Michelutti and Angelina (Angelo Fornasiero) all predeceased. Loving brother of Enso Michelutti (predeceased) (Dina) predeceased and Lily Krakovsky (Karol, predeceased). Dear brother-in-law of Joe Barazzutti (Greta). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Leo was a 55 year member of the ACT, Lions Club and a life member of the Caruso Club. He was the Legion Sportsman of the year in 1973. In 1959-60 Leo was part of the coaching staff when the ACT midgets won the all-Ontario championship. He was also inducted into the Kinsmen Sports Hall of Fame in 1982. He worked for the family owned business Superior Beverages until 1963 and then for Labatt's as a sales representative. In retirement, he continued to work for Potter's Distilleries and later Colio Wines. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Friends may call 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday March 17. Prayers at 3:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, Friday March 18 at 10:00 a.m. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Hospice for their incredibly thoughtful care of Leo in his last days.
