It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Lawrence Wilfrid Milette. He slipped away from his loving wife of 28 years, Cheryl (nee Drury), on the 28th day of June 2023, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.

 

He will be forever remembered by his daughter Lynne Carroll (Steve) of Peterborough and stepdaughter Krystal Vanclieaf (Jay Thomson) and precious grandchild Kali Thomson of Sudbury.

 

Larry was born June 25, 1951 to Betty Packham-Milette (nee Boucher) and Romeo Milette. He was later a stepson to Robert Packham all of Sudbury and all predeceased.

 

He will be greatly missed by his siblings: Margaret (Vince) Weirmeir of Hanmer, Paul (predeceased), Jackie of Sudbury, Philip (Susan) of Orillia, Gerald (predeceased), Janine (Austin) Finley of Sudbury, Claude of Red Deer AB, Edmund of Sudbury, Roger (Karen) of Red Deer AB, Cathy (Kendall) Stephen of Havelock, Liane, and Roland both from Alberta. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

 

Larry was a strong, gentle, quiet man who loved fishing and later golf. He will be missed by his friends at Timberwolf Golf Course in Sudbury and Fort Myers Golf and Country Club in Florida. He worked in the heavy equipment industry all of his life and was the proud owner of Northern Equipment Repair.

Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 9:30am-11:30am, Wednesday, July 5, 2023) Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:30am. Interment in the Britt Catholic cemetery.
