MILKS Evelyne Irene - In loving memory of Evelyne Milks (nee McGee), in her 85th year, who passed away peacefully at Extendicare Falconbridge on April 23rd, 2013. Beloved wife of Gerald, predeceased 1996. Loving mother of Gerry (wife Lynn) of Hornepayne, Marcia Corbeil (husband Rolly) of Sudbury, Garry (wife Sandy) of Toronto, Brian (wife Nicole) of Capreol. Beloved sister of Vi Horne, predeceased by her sister, Fran and brother Jim and her parents, Roselyn and James McGee. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cherished grandmother to Kendra, Ryan, Krista, Brad, Alicia, Erin, Joshua, Celeste and Dylan. Great grandmother to Jaice, Jayden, Camryn, Reid and Calvin. Our mother was a very special person, exceptionally kind, caring and gentle. Peace loving her entire life and the epitome of strong Christian values, she will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed her family. At Evelyne's request, there will be no public visitation. Cremation will be entrusted to Lougheeds Funeral Home. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff on the 3rd floor of Extendicare Falconbridge for caring for our Mom in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Evelyne's name to the “Activity Fund“ at Extendicare Falconbridge.
