Moir, Garry Clayton

MOIR, Garry Clayton - November 6, 1941 - September 2, 2010. With much sorrow we announce the passing of Garry Clayton Moir. Beloved husband of the late Cheryl Moir (nee Romain) for 40 years. Devoted son of Clayton and Carmelita (nee Leveck) Moir. Proud father and best friend of his sons Kevin (Zana), Chris (Melonie), and the late Brent Moir. Loving grandfather of Ayla, Bryce, Tamara, Justin, and Tannah; and great grandfather of Bryton. Loving brother of Robert (Claudette), Wayne (Rose), and the late Glenna, Winston and Lorraine. Garry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Garry was born in Levack, Ontario with Love in his heart and guitar in his hand. After years of working in Levack and Windsor, Ontario, Garry, moved his family to Faro, Yukon then Whitehorse, where for thirty years they spent every spare moment camping and fishing. He then retired to Elliot Lake in 2007. His family and friends will always remember him best making sweet music around the kitchen table. No one who knew him will ever forget him.
