It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Maurice "Moe" Moncion, January 9, 2024 at the age of 67. Moe was surrounded by his family when his long battle with cancer came to an end.
Son of Côme (predeceased in 2015) and Estelle Moncion (née Pilon). Sisters, Stella Leblanc (Gerry), Raymonde Delarosbil (Alcide) (both predeceased), Dorothy Adams (Carl), Carole Tanguay (Denis), Diane McQueen (Glen) Brothers, Gerald Moncion (Marilyn) and Marc Moncion (Janine). Moe also leaves behind his loving partner Diane Paquette and his stepson’s Aaron and Ethan Dignard.
Moe was born and raise in the small town of Val Caron. He had a great sense of humour and made friends easily. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He had a big heart for animals especially dogs. He was never seen without his two furry companions. Moe never complained and even at the end of his journey he made light of things with his sense of humour. While we will miss him dearly, we also take solace in the fact that he has found relief in his suffering and is reunited with his beloved father and loved ones.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who took good care of him.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted
