MONGRAIN, Phyllis (née Hoard) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 63 years. Daughter of the late William “Bill“ and of the late Helen (née Thompson) Hoard. Beloved mother of Crystal Breakenridge (Bob) of Edmonton, Alberta, Lisa Hurst (Bartolo Pilato) of Thunder Bay, Leanna Mongrain (David Jordan) and James Mongrain (April) both of Sudbury and Danny Mongrain (Donna Liscombe) of Orillia. Predeceased in 1990 by her son Darren. Dear sister of Dennis Hoard, Dale Hoard, Stan Hoard, David Hoard, Lynn Hoard, Cindy Stuart and Kenneth Hoard. Predeceased by her sister Bonnie Benjamin. Precious grandmother to Allan, Cindy, Rebecca, Mitchel, Kevin, Carissa, Emily, Edward, Adam, Neil, Jake and Daniel. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame) Sudbury, Monday, May 30, 2011 from 2-4. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
