MOORE, Winnifred Mae (née Angus) - 86 years. Peacefully, Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 at the Maison Vale INCO Hospice with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Wilmer “Bill“ Moore predeceased 1990. Loving mother of Linda (husband Jim Barrett), Joyce (husband Danny Michelutti) and Robert. Cherished grandmother to Jason, Darren, Rebecca and Shawna. Dear daughter of Duncan and Gertrude (Mason) Angus both predeceased. Dear sister of Willus Kobus (husband Bill predeceased). Special sister-in-law and travelling companion to Doreen Moore. Born in Wolftown, Ontario on June 23rd, 1924, she married and came to Sudbury in 1948. A woman of great faith she was a dedicated member of Knox Presbyterian Church where she actively participated in the congregation""s ministries and fellowship. She sang in the church choir and she sang with the Interlink choir for many years. Winnifred loved to travel, having taken many bus tours. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile and twinkling eyes. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the Knox Presbyterian Church, 83 Larch St., Sudbury, Friday, September 17th, 2010 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery.
