MORIN, Helen (née Janiga) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Thursday, March 15, 2012. Daughter of the late Albert and the late Anastasia (née Ormandi) Janiga. Beloved wife of Cyril “Cy“ Morin of Sudbury. Dear sister of Anne Zacharosky (late Andy), Mary Mousseau (late Garfield) both of Sudbury, Emily “Mickey“ Candusso (Bruno) of Hanmer and Albert “Abby“ Janiga (Elizabeth) of Brighton. She will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law Lysette St-Pierre, Claude Morin (Alma), Louise Halushenski (Paul), Colette Storzenecker (Fritz), Leona Ivory (Dave), Gilles Morin (Graziella) and Pierrette Morin (Emil Lange). She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family meant the world to Helen; she was intensely devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed many hobbies and crafts, especially cake decorating. Helen always put the needs of others ahead of hers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to Canadian Liver Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
